Here is a little peek at my process. You can see where this necklace was cut out of this magazine page. After I cut out the pieces I dip them in resin, let them cure overnight, then sand, drill holes, and attach a chain. Here is a closer shot of the chevron shaped magazine clippings in the center of the harness I posted earlier today. I hand cut each piece from magazine photos based on color and composition. Then I coat them twice in resin and sand the edges after they cure. This #cheveron #bodyharness is made with magazine clippings in the front and a single manzanita leaf that dangles in the back. Both the clippings and the leaf are #preserved in #resin and are hung on antiqued #brass #chain.

Spring time is a long way off, but you can still wear flowers in your hair. This flower crown has real dried Freesias that have been preserved in resin. Also, the little white beads are handmade from plastic milk cartons and resin. So enjoy wearing some of mother nature's beauty in your hair while also giving a little back to her by supporting a bit of upcycling!
