current favorite candle rec:

this candle was a “guest gift” when I stayed with one of my besties in Chicago over the summer. are guest gifts a thing? anyways if they aren't, I am definitely planning on continuing the tradition and returning the favor one day soon. this candle, which was also locally made (kinda makes it even more rad) has turned into the most amazing present that keeps on giving. definitely one of the strongest candles I’ve ever burned, I’ve lit it for about an hour, once a week (just until the entire top melts evenly) since I brought it home, and it fills my entire apartment with the most amazing patchouli based woodsy peppery fragrance each time that seems to linger for a good part of the day. and it's lasted FOREVER. all hidden-folk candles are made of 100% non-GMO soy wax, have lead free cotton wicks, and feature all natural essences - no synthetic fragrances are used. I seriously can’t recommend these candles enough!
