Oh The World On Stress!!!!

I’ve always believed the eighties was really a reaction to the many decade old cold war. That the free sprit, laugh it off, and the pure odd craziness of it all. Was a reaction to the stress of the times or the large amounts of cocaine that was being imported in by the CIA. But a small part of me feared that the 80’s “je ne sais quoi” may have been lost. Boy am I glad this band proved me wrong.

With the stress of passably another Cold war with Mr. Russia, the troubles in the middle east again, and our political system being broken to the point of beyond bull shit. I'm really digging the band “Walk the Moon” right now. Also the fact CBS is bringing back "McGiver". Man or Woman I need the hope only "McGiver" and "Quantum Leap" seem to offer. I hope this finds everyone well, or gets you laid.

Yep, apparently gin bring's out the feminist in me.

If a transgender person (lets say male to female) becomes an athlete then plays in the female arena (pick a sport). People (men mostly) will cry fowl because this person has the ability's of a man in a woman's sport. But what's more insulting? The fact that a person transitioning from man to a women can't compete with women because of a genetic fudge up? Or the fact that a woman can't be just as good as a man or in some cases better? And play on a level playing field. Go team go I say. Good luck to anyone who can play.

The George Jetson Effect.

This has been one of my fears that has always intrigued me.

The dystopian fear: The George Jetson effect.

If 1 robot can do the work of 10 people than those ten people lose they’re jobs.

If 1 robot can do the job of the 5 people it takes to service the previous robot than those 5 people lose their jobs.

And so on until everything is automated to the point where you’re left with one person (George Jetson) that comes in presses a button to turn the factory on and supervise's (watch) for x hours making sure nothing bad happens, until the daily quota is made then they press the off button, and go home.
