Throwing this lil wip into the void. Style practice + shading practice + drawing a blorbo i'm eternally struggling with.

He's like 10 years old and has no art. I deleted his TH profile a long time ago because it just stayed empty; every time I drew something I would delete it shortly because it felt off, or I just wasn't satisfied with it.

The problem with old, well-established characters is that at a certain point it's like drawing a real person's portrait from memory. I know what he looks like, but when drawing it's easier to point out what he does not look like, which just leads to frustration. It's SO hard to get it right, and SO easy to make it seem off. I think I'm finally at a place with my art where I'm starting to get it right.
