My best friend suddenly mentioned something about the "Farmer Boy x City Boy" trope. And my mind immediately jumped to Ben and Rook. I mean, they're exactly like that, or almost. We all know Rook is from Revonnah, a planet where life is primarily agricultural, they farm and gather, they have very little interaction with other planets or species, and I swear it reminds me of the countryside. Ben is from Earth, and Ben is EXACTLY a city boy! From the very first days on Earth, Rook was as clueless as a country boy who just arrived in the city to make a living. And Ben is like a city boy, leading Rook around. My mind kept thinking about the city boy... *cough*... Ben... in the name of friendship with his country boy... *cough*... Rook... *cough*... to flirt with him and make him fall for him.

No matter what anyone says, that's how I really see them. City boy x Country boy, it's a perfect match for Ben and Rook. It's like Rook first arrives in the city, still unfamiliar with everything, and then... Boom... He meets Ben, a popular city boy. Ben will befriend Rook, and sometimes tease him with intentionally flirtatious remarks, to the point where Rook gets embarrassed and stutters. And then, over time, Ben makes Rook fall in love with him!!! Oh my god... It's so good!!!

Does anyone agree? Because I definitely do!!! Ben is the city boy and Rook is the farmer boy! I'm totally hooked on this trope!
