lizzy (kuroshitsuji) would make a good accommodator tbh
Imagine her become Allen’s teacher as a swordsmaster and make Kanda sweat for being able to match his skill if not outdo him. Allen would be her biggest fan for those two reason.

sweet dreams
I remember someone (not sure who, sorry, it's been ages) liken Cross sacrificing Allen to revive Nea to Abraham binding Isaac on the Lord’s command - and it became so much more sadder when we learned Cross is Mana’s and Nea’s uncle, so he already had to watch a nephew die so the other one could be killed, and he also has to send Allen, who is like a son to him, to his death.
a gift for my friend, finally got the lavi out of the basement after so many years
Excited for the new chapter but mentally prepping for hoshino to switch back to the Noahs’ or kanda’s pov
So I've been thinking on and off about what exactly the significance of '100% synchronization' is, character-wise, and I think I've hit on something that finally feels right. And it really ties back to something Allen said shortly before he resynchronized with Crown Clown.
It's the human weapon thing. An exorcist breaks critical when they accept that they are a weapon that fights akuma - effectively making themselves the same as their Innocence.
Allen who has no purpose in life other than to fight akuma.
Kanda who was born and forged for this.
Cross who sees himself as someone doing what needs to be done.
Zokalo who loves the violence.
Tiedoll who sees himself as a protector of the world.
Nyne who cleanly disposes of every akuma she encounters.
I just think it fits. I suppose then, further synchronization is probably a refining of motives and ideals, like how Allen and Crown Clown still don't see eye-to-eye on, for example, the Thirds. But what it takes to break critical point is to accept that you are not a human that uses a weapon - you are a human weapon.
If Lenalee were to lose her legs would Dark Boots adapt and give her prostethic legs? Would they count as Parasitic type then? Or only if it became living tissue?
This is funny because I was just thinking about how much of Allen's arm is actually structured like a normal arm! (Not much, I think, based on what happened when it was ripped off and the fact that it doesn't bleed, so I'd disagree with the 'living tissue' angle for that reason.)
Anyway, Lenalee. I think, after she became crystal-type, it would absolutely make sense for her Innocence to take the place of her legs! Honestly, it kind of seems like that's how parasitic Innocences work to some degree - that's how Allen got his arm, and Krory's teeth fell out before he got Innocence teeth. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out Suman's arm had to get cut off before he got his Innocence. I bet that a lot of Innocences would just desynchronize though, just depending on how much they like that particular accommodator.
I don't think Lenalee would be very happy about it though. Parasite-type users seem to lose a lot of agency compared to equipment- and crystal-types.
When Tyki tore it off it was more "separate", but I meant in the sense he could feel pain through it, something he wouldn’t register if the arm was like a prostethic. Though when he reforged his destroyed Innocence Bak stated that it has wholly integrated and become part of Allen and it even appeared in other tissue - see Allen’s Innocence filling up the hole in his heart and then the stab wound by Mugen.
Losing one or both her legs would suck for Lenalee, especially since Hoshino places such importance on them, but if Lenalee ever got so gravely injured she would likely not survive the ordeal if not for Dark Boots "stepping in". It has me wonder though, would they feel like her own legs that she could feel through or not.
Also this could even set a dangerous precendent as Central could decide "hey Exorcists having Innocence act as their prostethic is neat actually" and try find a way to replicate the results.
If Lenalee were to lose her legs would Dark Boots adapt and give her prostethic legs? Would they count as Parasitic type then? Or only if it became living tissue?
Ya'll remember this extremely cursed yaoi baiting poster? I fixed it. And by 'I fixed it' I mean I made it worse.
HOSHINO EXCUSE YOU I CAN'T BELIEVE ALLEN PICKING UP THE HABIT OF STRETCHING TIM'S CHEEKS IS NEA'S INFLUENCE JUST KILL ME
I demand Arms of Baptism wielding Exorcist!Anita and her girlfriend Mahoja in exchange for him and those other 2 who survived, rip all of you but you won't be missed
suddenly obsessed with the idea of both allen and neah feeling like they've been replaced by the other
allen is obvious, of course - he's neah's vessel and he's always been neah's vessel and he is haunted by the fact that mana and cross (the two men that raised him) never wanted him. they wanted neah. even if it means he has to die. (they want him to die.)
but then there's neah
and i can't help but think of him replacing allen. and feeling that look that cross gives him. and maybe even mana, if mana regains his memories at the end. and they both look at him with that look. and he knows it's because he's wearing allen's face. he killed their son and stole his face and he knows that's all they see when they look at him.
they don't want neah anymore.
they just want allen back.
(none of these things are true but the thought hurts anyway.)
when the next wave of the pandemic is coming and you need to cough
Allen really is the saving grace of the Order who kept smacking his comrade's hands away from the easier but morally questionable acts, if not for him:
- Kanda would have taken Lala's heart before Guzol passed away
- Fou would have been left to die
- Miranda would have been killed by the combined power of three Generals to make sure the Egg was destroyed
- asked his fellow Exorcists to kill him if he became a Noah and was judged to be a threat to spare Komui from giving that order
- then told them it wouldn't be necessary because he would stop the Fourteenth by which he probably alludes to killing himself to spare his friends from that
- Alma and Tokusa would have definitely gotten killed and this feels the most hurtful because it wasn't even for "a greater good" just the Order wanting to bury the truth after betraying Alma MULTIPLE TIMES LIKE THAT to save face and the blame the entire thing on Allen
My boy singlehandedly held the moral fabric of the Order together and all he got in exchange was disrespect.
Hoshino making cutesy art of Tui and Edgar, going off about how Zhu couldn’t bring himself to tell Bak what he did because he loved Bak soooo much, then casually let it slip that they used orphaned babies for the Second Exorcist Project
