I don't think I'll ever feel as cool as when I was 8 and the older kids were trying to get the younger kids off the merry-go-round/carousel (I think that's what it's called) at the local playground and then they saw me and we're like "no [they] can stay. [They] like going fast."

It's my first day in another country and I'm planning to spend a lot of time on my feet and I've already hurt my ankle just walking around the airport yesterday.

#granted my joints are trash and the foot on that leg also might have damaged muscles #from when I stepped on glass as a kid but still.

Why is it that the moment I find a good doctor who is willing to test me they end up not giving their hours to the hospital so I can't book another appointment?

At least I now have almost certain proof that something is up so hopefully I can see a Rheumatologist before I have to deal with another day like yesterday where my joints just... Hurt so much I could barely even hold my phone.

#I'll have to do another Lyme's disease test to see if it's that or a false positive (which are often caused by an autoimmune condition)#Hopefully at least 'I likely have an autoimmune condition and my joints hurt a fucking lot'#will be a good enough explanation to maybe run some tests on my chest pains even though I can't exercise.

Anyone know if there are persona 4 mods to make the experience of it less overstimulating? Currently I can only handle about half an hour of playing the game before needing to stop. (My best friend had a similar issue with watching me play it)

Issue is that while playing without sound and with the brightness turned way down helps a bit, I still can't really play it.

#Depends on what you mean by experienced.#Impacted me slightly but didn't actually happen where I live? Flood #(There was a really bad flood last year that happened in big chunk of Poland. We were too high up for it to affect us much)#I was personally in the middle of and was mentally affected by? Windstorm #(I was in a scout camp in the middle of 'the worst disaster in the history of Polish forests.'#Had it taken a slightly different path I likely wouldn't be here. And I still get shaky every time there's thunder.)

If it turns out I've been dealing with chronic joint pain because I had fucking Lyme's disease and no one fucking noticed for however many years I'll be so pissed.

TBH though the main alternative at this point is an autoimmune condition which might be even worse.

Update: probably an autoimmune condition.

Like I have some antibodies that basically only show up with one of those.

At least we know where to look now?

#I have been going to so many doctors it's not even funny.#I also just found out today that getting congealed mucous in your mouth from your sinuses that tastes metallic #and has bits of blood in it might be a sign of something majorly wrong.#so I'll have to go to another doctor for that.#at least I just got an MRI which should show my sinuses also.#btw all I know from my ct scan a few years back is that one of my sinuses never developed properly.
