she's come with his laptop perched betwixt slightly trembling fingers. her heels may have tipped him off to her appearance but she is uncharacteristically quiet.

her voice is meager, small in tone as well as volume and her eyes are rimmed red from past crying. the fact that he had walked off without his laptop is a testament to how horridly he’s coping. not that she’s doing much better.

with only mild irritation does he place the bag within her grasp, before heading off to the kitchen. there is no need to ask; nor does he require assistance in knowing it's layout. the devas have spent more than enough time at one another's homes to know such domestic information.
