Closing thoughts: Being queer and rural can be a deeply isolating feeling. I come from a small town with no pride events and very rarely do i see other visibly queer people. There is not a gay bar here, we do not have parades. This in of itself is isolating enough, but the community at large has a heavy focus on city life to the point of many voices from within designating the countryside as a backwards, bigoted zone worthy of being hazed to the ground for being full of nothing but dumb bigots. It should not need to be stated how atrocious the classist bigotry is within that kind of thinking, but also it is so deeply othering as a rural queer to feel that there is no understanding nor home for you with queer groups who cannot see past their own city life to give so much as a thought to those of you who's access to social and support networks are so vastly different. This piece is messy, unpolished and the first thing i've made in a very long time. It is not my best work, but the emotions behind it are some of the most personal. I wanted to end it on a positive note because it is far too easy for those of us living this isolation to feel alone. And you are not. There are far more trans and queer individuals in situations like you than you could ever imagine. I hope we all find community one day.

I got so pissed off when I made a kink post elsewhere explicitly surrounding the fantasy of aggressively affirming that a trans man's pre-surgery dick is "big enough" to fight back against micropenis comments and jokes (which i find to be intersexist and transphobic) aaaaaaaaaaaand..... someone immediately replied yes-anding on it by explicitly calling the aforementioned dick a micropenis and suggesting the trans man use a strap instead to 'really' show them its big enough.
