Just a ramble

I’m at an age where I don’t rly have the energy to keep up with new medias/fandoms. Hence why I’m only active/lurk in medias i’ve like since I was a kid (namely FF/KH). And I would consider myself lucky but it is a fandom that’s still very active.

But when it comes to lesser known/active fandoms, it’s kind of a struggle. Recently my older interest like Slam Dunk(SD) got a revival back in 2023-2024 because of TFSD. It was really fun seeing people gather again (tho I mainly only lurk). But when the artists/fans starts to disappear one by one… it always make me sad. Especially in a more east asia-dominated fandoms like SD where it’s pretty common for people to just outright disappear or worse, delete their account 😭

And I guess the main thing why I still do fanarts/merch about them in cons (like making CLAMP/TRC/SD stuff) is because I want to meet people of the same interest. Glad I was able to meet a few people tho :)
