The song I relate most toÂ

i love you means youâre never ever getting rid of me

I never really liked Door Number Three when I heard it on Saraâs album. Iâve always been so confused by what it meant, and couldnât really place it in the movie. Iâm glad they put What Baking Can Do in, and itâs become one of my favourite songs of the OBCR. What do you guys think? Door or Baking?
I love them both but I would have to say that I like baking better. Door Number Three was sang by Jenna as her husband Earl was watching a reality show (similar to the price is right) when you pick a door and win whatâs behind it. Door number two had nothing behind it and she is singing about how she has already walked through that door in her life and is ready to try something new and walk through another door to a better life. It was a song representing her struggles and the conflict between staying and going. It was very relevant to the plot, but What Baking Can Do provides more of a back story and has more of a build so I like it better :)
I canât believe I didnât pick up on the game show thing! It makes so much more sense now - thank you! I agree - I love how What Baking Can Do provided more insight into Jenna and her backstory :)Â

Sara Bareilles and Jessie Mueller sing She Used to Be Mine at the 70th Annual Tony Awards
Most people: listen to pop about partying and doing drugs
Me: listens to pop about pies and having an affair with the OB/GYN
Also me: listens to a rap album about an American founding father that has an affair and then writes about it
