4 shows down in 3 days! We worked for 1.5-ish semesters and we all finally bonded as a cast. But now it’s over. I realized that it’s a weird feeling for me to make new friends. I feel like I haven’t done that in a while. The past couple years I made acquaintances, but not friends. I like my new friends.

Lots to do this weekend, and applications are due next weekend. I still have a lot to do and every time I sit down and open my personal statement I start majorly stressing because of word count. I’m at 999 out of 1000 and should still elaborate on a couple ideas.

I also just noticed that I got a bruise on the bottom of my foot, on my arch. A couple days ago, because I’ve been so frazzled, I left my stuff everywhere and stepped on a bagful of thick bobby pins. I also had a needle in that bag so thank goodness I didn’t puncture myself.

Time for some wine. And homework. And personal statement. And figuring out where I want to intern next year. Yup, a week before apps due and still haven’t figured that important part out yet. wine it is.

when your friend says that he can’t go to a 1.5 hour church service because he has a lot to do and you’re over here with 9hrs of your saturday gone because of work and rehearsal...

here’s to staying up (again) and getting less than 5 hours of sleep yay. Is it bad that I have consistently gotten 5-6 hours for the past two weeks, when the rest of my college career I have gotten around 7-8?

failing at life and wondering how other people before me have done it. How do they balance school, work, extracurricular activities, post-graduation stuff, and relationships/friends?

It’s very affirming and reassuring when someone tells me I look very happy when I dance and that I have a good movement quality that’s fit for the dance I’m in. Especially since we haven’t really used the mirror since mid-October so I actually don’t know what I look like.

Here’s to my last week of freedom. Moving forward to tech week next week and DICAS applications the week afterwards. I’m currently failing at life right now so we’ll see how I will manage school + dance + dicas + work. How do other people do this?!

In 4 DC pieces this semester! Add in senior dance and production = 6ish. I’m pretty stoked.

Things finally falling into place. well they were in place but fell out the past 2 years but now coming back together this year.

excited to go back home and worry about real life things like life after college. Jimmy is coming back with us, too! What’s more exciting than him coming to my home? Riding an airplane with him!! I love airplanes and i love him so duh they go together.

listening to raymonda and trying to remember that balanchine choreo from 4 years ago... I barely remember my variation. Of course it’s copyrighted so you can’t find it anywhere except for a library in new york.

I was going to have my girls do a dance from Raymonda, but I just couldn’t. I don’t want to replace it.

There are those people who naturally draw you to Jesus, no matter what the conversation or activity we are doing. They make me ache to know Him more. They make me want to read my Bible, want to spend time in prayer, and want to have a deeper relationship with our Lord. They make me want to be like that person for someone else.

Tonight was the most scared I have ever been in my life. I am not exaggerating. My entire body is still shaking 45 min after it has been over. I don’t know how I’m going to sleep tonight.

that sinking feeling you get when everyone is getting engaged and they’ve been in a relationship shorter than you have.

meanwhile, we’re over here standing still. he’s trying to find jobs and getting rejected from a couple while paying for his parent’s divorce and sister’s college education. i won’t know where i’ll be next year until at least April, assuming i even get into an internship site. Everyone keeps saying “oh you will get in” but they don’t realize about 200 people apply and there are only 4-10 spots per site. do i really want to do the internship? No. Should I? Yes.

at least they have their lives together.
