I can’t even believe I finished this… The animals lined up SO WELL and it wasn’t even intentional! (Except for the unintentional decapitation of the Woolly Mammoth.) The birds aren’t quite to scale because I want them to be able to be seen. And this is just a sketch, some layout things with the museum part (far right) of the piece are definitely subject to change.

The players (roughly) from left to right:

Stegosaurus butt, Apatosaurus butt, T rex, Pteranodon, Protoceratops, Archaeopteryx, Macrauchenia, Moeritherium, Woolly Mammoth, Glyptodon, Smilodon fatalis, Dire Wolf, Steller’s Sea Cow (yes, it’s flying because they’re magical creatures), Sivatherium, Dodo Bird, Broad Tail Parrot, Great Auk, Moa, Mascarene Parrot, Falkland Island Wolf, Quagga, Reunion Starling, Eastern Elk, Cape Lion, Passenger Pigeon, California Grizzly, Caribbean Monk Seal (also flying, again with its magical powers), Tasmanian Tiger, Dark Flying Fox, Lesser Bilby, Caspian Tiger, Glaucous Macaw, Western Black Rhino.

So that’s…… oh god, 33 species. Which is more than I was planning. How the hell did that happen?
