For all its Pros and Cons, studies have suggested that it's long tail effects are especially relevant to Media & Entertainment economics with the 'amplification of a new network economy.' After all, the proof is in the pudding....to use the Music industry as an example, the current state of service distribution means that music has become readily available and accessible through the the click of a mouse via the ever present online music service providers/platforms. Although the model infrastructure has since improved from the days of Napster, it's clear there are still some holes which need to be sown up.
