The Swimtails final outcome: I'm still not paid, they wanted me to sign a release THEY were writing up, and, said their IP attorney who they would not identify except as 'Peter' insisted they did not actually violate my IP. I call BS. That would have forced me to pay an attorney to handle some agreement that might have some shadiness in it, which would have cost me a lot more than the fee I requested and made it worthless. F**k no. News flash - the infringer doesn't write up a release contract for the IP holder whose IP they violated. My News blog entry has been updated here, just scroll down: http://www.fancyfairy.com/news/2019/2/27/copyright-psa There's no real accountability here. There's no payment like they stated in their public so-called apology, and there's probably no real attorney. I'm tired of the dishonesty and games, in fact I trust them so little that if they did send a check now I would not cash it. Some poor customer who never got their tail might need it more than me. This felt like it was all about optics and stalling, probably hoping everyone would forget about it after their apology post thinking they had actually held themselves accountable. Well, I wanted to make one last post to let you all know that they have not. Closing comments because these people wasted enough of my time and I don't have any to spare to deal with blindly loyal fans who don't get it coming here to troll. #swimtails #iplaw #artistrights #stopiptheft https://www.instagram.com/p/Busc-NTlORB/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=r14ktahs179g
