[The first photo of three is of a man wearing short shorts, a cloak, and a full head mushroom hat. He is carrying a sign that says "you are awesome" and his young daughter is standing next to him looking exhausted. The second photo is of a woman painting. She is sitting at an easel and the painting has folds in the canvas and colorful drips coming from the top, running down the painting in an artistic way. The third and final photo is of a black female mannequin with folded canvas glued to her torso, half of her right leg and half of her left arm are also covered. It is painted in black, red, and gold.]
Took the rollator out for a spin at the Pagan Festival. (goddess fest for anyone in Idaho. It's at Julia Davis Park) I only got one weird comment and the rest of the time I got compliments on my glitter paint or tips from other rollator users. (One lady had drilled a hook into the side to hang bags! Another gentleman put a bike bell on his!)
I painted some seashells and met the Mushroom King and might start going to pagan church again. (There's a news clip on youtube of Babby 18 year old Haachama representing an element in the basic training Mabon Ceremony. I think I was Earth or Air?)
Also Sister E is preggers and had someone ask to touch her belly and then told her she was having a girl. (She is!) Sister Hel and Sister Han have decided we need to attend the birth dressed as the fairies and curse her baby because SOMEBODY has to.
I wanted to the Scandinavian hearth and homecraft class but it got cancelled. We did seashell mandala instead. The artist doing the Mannequin and fabric painting sculptures is DEFINITELY someone (Angela Kathleen Stout. I think her hashtag is #artbyAKS but I believe she's on inta not tumblr)I definitely want to look into in the future. It was super eerie to see irl and the red and gold and fabric folds made it look like it was alive and pulsing. She wants to do a series!
