Good God, were you raised by wolves?
Were you? Smh
I was raised by civilized human beings who discipline their children, clearly you weren't.
Oh, shut up. You were raised to be a good-for-nothing, cocky, arrogant, attention-seeking asshole.
That sounds a lot more like you than me, young lady.

Augh...
- Capt. Samuel Wheeler
Some time after his interaction with Hewlett, Samuel is approached by Simcoe, who, looking pretty pissed off, grabs him by the front of his vest before he can speak.
Captain Wheeler, I heard you were being quite aggressive with Major Hewlett earlier. I'm sure you're aware that's no way to treat your superior.
The tone in his voice and his very forward actions impressed that, once Samuel admitted to it, there would likely be a more violent response to come.
*Samuel frowns. He was just starting to have some vague semblance of a good day after getting his wig sorted out and back on his head.*
You're one to talk, Captain. And you don't even like the man, so why would such a thing upset you?
Simcoe scowls, tightening his grip on Samuel's vest.
W— Whether I like him or not doesn't affect the need for respect. You should know that punishment is important, hm? I fear Hewlett might be too merciful to implement it to the necessary extent...
He let go of Samuel and took a step back, making a pitying expression, and punched him in the face.
Agh—
*Samuel rubs where Simcoe punched him, then glares at him.*
What is your problem?!
My problem is with insolent men like you.
And, I do hate to hear of someone's honour being diminished.
Simcoe watches him for a moment, looking annoyed, then tackles him down to the ground and punched him again.
Bold words for someone who doesn't have any–
*Samuel makes another pained noise when he gets punched again. Unfortunately for Simcoe, however, Samuel isn't going to just sit there and take this beating. He pushes Simcoe off and punches him in the face as well. Ouch.*
Simcoe drew back briefly, but he's pretty undeterred by Samuel fighting back—wholly set on causing him pain (without injuring him), evident as he attacks Samuel again. Punching and kicking and all that.
*Samuel manages to get up, and does the same. The fighting gets the attention of some soldiers, who come to see what's going on. More and more soldiers arrive, and maybe a certain Major might see the commotion as he passes by... Either way, there's a chorus of "Holy shit!", and other similar phrases coming from the various soldiers watching the fight.*
( @ask-edmundhewlett )
Arriving at the garrison, pushing past all the others watching the fight, Hewlett was close enough to see what was going on... and aware he should probably put a stop to it. Although, it was interesting to watch. Not that he could imagine why these two would be fighting, nonetheless so aggressively.
He happens to catch Simcoe's eye for a second, and the moment the contact breaks, Simcoe quickly got more hostile with his adversary than before. It's like he's trying to impress Hewlett or something... hmm...
*Unfortunately for Samuel, this means he gets a nasty punch in the gut right after managing to land a gut punch of his own on Simcoe. And fortunately for Hewlett, Samuel doesn't seem to notice him, and keeps fighting Simcoe just as he was before Hewlett arrived.*
There's an almost comical amount of time that Hewlett spends just standing around instead of, maybe, stopping the fight between two of his men happening right in front of him. He was awfully distracted by staring at Simcoe... HMM....
But, eventually, he steps closer to the two, and makes a meagre attempt at pulling the two apart. While he's not doing much, at least they know he's trying to stop them.
Agh— you will both stop this at once!
*While Samuel would normally respect authority, he also is still fairly frustrated with Hewlett and unwilling to let Simcoe beat the shit out of him. Thus, he doesn't stop yet.*
Surprisingly enough, Simcoe is the one who stops, faltering when Hewlett tries to pull them apart. He pushes Samuel back and stands up straight, with the Major standing between them.
Huff.... well, Captain Wheeler, we may call this... a draw.
He doesn't seem happy to stop, and especially not to call it a draw, but he listened to Hewlett anyway and didn't want to further provoke Samuel.
*Once Simcoe stops, Samuel stops as well.*
...Hmph.
