Black people in the boys show and fandom are constantly over looked as a part of the story and as fans of the show.
The excuse for blatant exclusion of black characters in the fandom is “well all the characters are bad so I don’t have to like them.” Which yes is true, YOU are the people being satire in the show.
Black noirs (1.0 and 2.0) character has an extremely deep and amazing storyline and it almost always gets over looked by the fandom. Black Noirs character faces abuse daily from white people (dare I say white supremacists) causing him to fear for his life whenever soldier boy comes back.
The write of jokes in this show are not funny, it’s always “well technically this black character SHOULD be stronger than [insert white character], but it’s funny if we treat their power as a joke compared to other characters in the show.”
