Ted nodded slowly in return, raising an eyebrow as she almost let mudblood slip through her sentence. âOr is it just because they have to search your history and that is an inconvenience to you?â
She blushed, âOf course not. Not an inconvenience at all.â Luci chewed the inside of her cheek, âWould it be of an inconvenience to you?â
It was a different experience. Exciting, and yet almost exactly the same as school. The match was awesome. My father got box seats and we went. Barcelona beat Madrid by 150 points.
I sure hope someday Iâd get to see that, Iâm so incredibly jealous that you were able to see the match.

âYou think that? Iâm surprised for some reason, but I definitely agree with you, Miss Talkalot.âÂ
She nodded hesitantly, âYeah. Oh yeah, definitely. Itâs not very fair of those mud--â Luci stopped and her cheeks flushed. âMuggleborns and halfbloods.â she finished.

They do seem to like me! I spend enough time down there during the year. Itâs a bit of a hobby.

âSomeone looks like sheâs got a lot on her mind,â Emma remarked, glancing over at the blonde.
âDonât even go there with me, Emma. I am too stressed out to deal with you right now.â

âIf you ask me, itâs about time the Ministry did something useful. You agree, correct?â
âWell... itâs not that I donât agree,â Luci sighed. âI just donât understand.â
âOh no.. this isnât good.â
Luci faked a smile at everyone that passed her. The news that the Ministry had let out had taken a toll on her emotionally. She was still unsure of what side to choose and Luci knew now that, because of this happening, she was going to be forced to a side much sooner rather than later like she preferred.
Went to Spain, visited Addie yesterday. Practiced Quidditch while in Spain. There was that big game there the second week I was around. The streets were crazy in celebration.
Wow. Spain. What a lovely idea, youâre so lucky. [She gasped.] How was it? Practicing in another country and all? Did you happen to see the match? Who was playing?
âEw.â
âWhat was so gross that you were making that face?â
She bit her lip, âThe thing with the Ministry and this whole blood supremacy thing.â Luci shook her head, âEw.â

âMy mum still tells me it all the time.â
âWell how adorable that is.â

[nods after a moment] Yes, I can see what you mean⊠I think sheâs still just upset that youâre captain, which isnât fair because it wasnât like you chose that. The teachers did.

[Luci sighed and nodded.] Youâre right. They did. And it was for the best, it really was. Addie, she was failing out of school and it was scary to watch. I admit I was the one to seek help, but I never expected this to come from it. [She smiled.] I hope youâre right. Have you spoken to her lately?

[Luci wrinkled her lips to one side before responding.] Well yeah, it wasnât too pretty. Sheâs toxic, that one. She really is. I hadnât any idea what to do about it, Iâm not that mean of a person, am I?

[sighs, looking at it] I suppose youâre right.
Hey, at least we both need work on our taste of dresses, huh?

Do you think the security is as lax as the cooking? I could bake you something if the kitchens are unattended.
[She smiled lightly.] Well the elves never leave that kitchen, but Iâm sure you can reason with them.
