I've had some CC gymnastics equipment in my mods folder for years, but haven’t had an opportunity to use it. Then I remembered the scene in What If…? where Steve and Peggy were in the gym, him doing physical therapy and her venting and punching.
The parallel bars ended up saving the day, though they look a little funky because I had to scale them down to match Steve’s arm height.
So I've posted a story for Steggy Week!!! It's the first chapter of a Hunger Games AU I've been working on for the past two years. Hope you guys enjoy!

After a debrief and a shower, the last thing Steve expects to find in his tent is Peggy Carter.
The sight of her perched on his cot stops him dead; he blinks hard, once, just to make sure he’s not imagining her sitting there in her uniform, ankles crossed. Then she stands and tells him, “You gave me quite a fright, you know. I thought I'd sent you off to your death.”
He smiles apologetically, tells her, “I’m sorry I scared you.”
Peggy steps in close, hands warm against his chest, and orders softly, “Make it up to me, then.”
An elite group of navy fighter pilots who graduated from TOPGUN is assembled for a top-secret mission. Included in the detachment are Tony “Ironman” Stark, Natasha “Widow” Romanoff, Thor “Thunder” Odinson, James “Winter” Barnes, Sam “Falcon” Wilson, Clint “Hawkeye” Barton, and Bruce “Hulk” Banner.
Most renowned of the group is Steve Rogers, callsign “Nomad”.
On the night before their first debrief, the pilots unwind at The Hard Deck. Drinks, music, and merriment abound. Barnes and Wilson convince Steve to talk to a pretty lady sitting alone at the bar. After much cajoling, Steve manages to gather the courage to approach her.
To his delight, she doesn’t turn him away. She says her name is Margaret and she shares a drink with him; the rest of the night is spent deep in conversation. The night ends, but Steve foolishly forgets to ask for her number. He just hopes he runs into her again soon.
He does, but not in the way he expects.
During the first debrief, the group of pilots is introduced to Agent Peggy Carter, the CIA operative assigned to assist in their top secret mission.
I’ve been on such a Top Gun kick after I saw the movie. This little idea wouldn’t leave my brain. This may or may not be a fanfic in the future!
