Referring to the quote from Romance of the Three Kingdoms:

兄弟如手足，妻子如衣服。衣服破，尚可縫； 手足斷，安可續？ 

Translation:  Brothers are like limbs, wives and children are like clothing. Torn clothing can be repaired; how can broken limbs be mended? 

Interpretation: It means that wives and children, like clothing, are replaceable if lost but the same does not hold true for one's brothers (or friends).

When you need to go on a life-or-death mission but your girl finds you.

This is so dramatic.

They’re both in a tough spot between family and love. She can’t deal with the fact that her dad’s murderer (aka his father) is walking free while he’s trying to be a good son by keeping his father safe. I like how even though he says one of them must give in, he’s the one that chooses to concede first and readily throws everything away to be with her. However, reality finally catches up with her and she makes a choice to abandon her love for him. You can really feel his desperation and anxiousness when he knows he’s about to lose her. He’s trying to grasp on so hard but too bad for him, she was resolute with this decision.

That hug right there. You can clearly see how tightly he embraces her. He doesn’t wanna let go because at this moment, there is a good chance that this was going to be it for them. The bad blood between their families runs too deep and neither of them know what to do. It was doomed from the beginning.
