"Captain Styrdraga Rhetikympfsyn of the vessel Enduring Deeds, finest damned merchant this side of Eorzea, ready to haul cargo for competitive prices!"
Welcome to Styr's blog! Don't let his name worry you, everyone just calls him Styr or Cap'n.
He is a Sea Wolf from La Noscea, always staying on the legal* side of business to build his merchant empire. And to stay free, of course! What's the point of captaining a ship if you can't do what you want?
I keep forgetting to post this screenshot I took of @iron-sparrow's wonderful gift to me, made by the awesome @verysmallcyborg! Look how cute the tanktender is :) :) :)
Styr's is actually a dragon! A guardian of the sea, a Leviathan from the depths. However, he has given up this form and the life associated with it to instead live as a mortal does. His love for the sea has never gone away, but is not joined with the love he has for his wife.
This forest in particular used to be barred off, back in the days where I still had a beating heart. If one wandered too far from the outer skirts, and dwelled too long, territorial beasts would find themselves some easy prey, or worse: the forest itself plays tricks on whatever unfortunate souls dared to tread into its seemingly empty maw. Foolish knights seeking to prove their bravery and strength, careless adventurers, and civilians alike have tested their fate here. None have made it out alive, or at least don't live long enough to finish the tale before they're dragged into the aetherial sea.
My cycle of undeath has often led me here, for countless reasons. What is there to fear when you're rejected from death itself? I've witnessed many horrors within this forest that remain true to the hushed whispers and rumors that were spoken of. Learning about patterns, offensive and defensive mechanisms, and the trickery of this forest and its inhabitants has been... useful, to say the least.
Ryssrael and I had a heated argument regarding how impulsive and careless she is as an aspiring knight, things that have been the downfall of many young knights. When I realized where she was storming off to... I could only hope that I'd get to her in time.
This forest is not going to feast on the soul who has not rejected me, like how death and the world has.

Styr might have a few violent exes, and he might have been caught by one. His ex may have roughed him up for breaking his heart.
It's okay, though, because he knows his wife will move heaven and earth to find him again.
Featuring the lovely @iron-sparrow's Lia Amelune, Styr's most beautiful wife.
I need some water
Somethin' came over me
Way too hot to settle down
Might as well overheat
Too close to comfort

Captain Styr and a new friend working to move more goods for that sweet coin. A nice and warm afternoon stroll to their ship :)
I can't promise to do every day, but I am looking forwarding to gposing more Roegadyn!
Thank you to everyone for submitting prompts and helping us build out this list! Now we have a little time to get a head start before Novebmer hits.
Special thanks to @ravandfriendsxiv for helping me put this together and for this incredible graphic!!
Feel free to do as many or as few as you want, or to mix and match with any other lists. Tag your gposes, gifs, art, writing, music, etc. with #RoevemberXIV or #RoevemberXIV2025 and come celebrate thirty solid days of ROEGADYN.
I always really liked to pose Lia and Odette despite the additional challenge of their height difference, which makes making intimate gestures very difficult. I tend to get around this by keeping them seated. Even then, it's a huge pain.
And if I were gonna manage just a single Pride gpose this month, it was gonna be with them. Because to me, Lia and Odette are such a special embodiment of joy between women in love.
Their relationship comes layered. Both do take other lovers, and Lia is even married to a cis man (voluntarily this time) and does not ascribe to the gender binary. Yet this image of Lia and Odette is still their truth.
Happy Pride. Never stop celebrating and never stop fighting.
Happy birthday month to @lilbittymonster! A certain pigeon friend inspired me to give Lia a dragon(ish) lover, so here she is with her favorite dragon mount. (kekw)
Hope you have a very good birthday and many more happy days after. 🍰🍓
