Friends and readers,
This is Bre’s family. We have been privately letting her close friends know and now are slowly going public with tough news. Bre has passed away. We have come to discover she kept her disease private and so it has been a shock to many who knew her how much she was struggling. In the end her body could not handle the stress of multiple surgeries and medications and gave out. We knew how much her writing brought her joy and have no doubts that she would have wanted to finish if she could. Out of respect for this we have decided to leave her writings up but will mark them complete. Our sister has requested that any donations in her honor (appreciated but not expected) be made to the breast cancer research foundation or to the trevor project.
