As I grow older, I see things differently than I used to. I realized that I'm not that same kid anymore who liked to play outside and indulge myself to video games. I'm not that same kid anymore who was very happy and contented with a 20 peso bill I receive. Is it because as time pass by, I get to see the reality of life? That life is something more than just a short conversation but it needs a deeper interaction. That not everyone is reliable and would somehow make you feel taken for granted. That unrealistic expectation should not be tolerable because life is meant to be lived with freedom and purpose. As I look at the sunset, I can see myself, it's too beautiful to the point that it hurts. I started to realize that something could be destructive but still holds beauty in it and something could be mesmerizing yet there's a broken past behind it. Still, it reminds me that there's still hope in tomorrow, we just have to rest and keep our mind focused on the next steps we could take. Either it's good or bad, we have to face it and keep going because as the day ends, we have ourselves and our mental being is more important than anything.
Play… Play is usually we do when we were little children, it is a way we entertain ourselves and to makes us happy. When I was a little boy I tend to play a lot of games such as video games, computer games and even playing games outside our house, and I’ve been always scolded because of playing a lot by my parents, it always makes me sad because I just want to play and as a kid I just want to spend my life playing. Years passed by and I slowly realized who are really playing the game of life, our parents because in the game of life they are the main heroes, they are finding the way to sustain us and giving what we need. Everyday our parents sacrifices to work just for us because they love us and they care for our future. Let’s appreciate the efforts that they done for us and don’t forget to tell them how you love them because it might what they need to boost in the game of life.
Once my mother said that education is a treasure that I can keep forever, until now I cherish the importance of education and trying my best to finish my school. But did it come across your mind that how about the less privilege children that cannot afford to go to school. What will they do for the betterment of their future? So it is really a struggle for them to find education. As a student we should take consider the importance of education in our mindset because it is not just attending to school it is a way to grow ourselves and to be better in the future. We should not waste our parents money and must focus on our studies because let’s face it we cannot predict our future but we can be prepared for it.
Work or job can be defined as an act of effort to do a specified task to support financial needs. Now a days many people are unemployed because of their low financial status and low educational status. It is a challenge for them on how they will sustain their daily needs, not for themselves but to their family. As I walk around the Manila cathedral looking some spots to take picture then I came across to an old man who sells rosary and other religious goods by the cathedral, he’s a friendly man and guiding the tourist where should they go. It came to my thought the question of “how much does my faith cost?” because the old man sustaining his family through selling religious goods which is a struggle for him but still being good to others and being faithful to God. I still think about that thought of what is the cost of being a good person and many people didn’t realize that it is free and being good to others can change their life and also others life. It came to my thought that being good has no cost and we should be a good role model to others.

My name is Ausitn Banaag, 20 years old. A young man from Manila who studies multimedia arts and loves taking photographs. Fueled by passion to create something new and to strive greatness in different levels. Through the use of photography I want to share the beauty of our world in my own perspective. The thing that I love in photography is that I can express what I feel and also to tell a story because I believe that a picture is worth a thousand words. The camera that I’m currently using is a Fujifilm X-A10 with a kit lens of 16-50mm F3.5-5.6. The genres of photography that I like to take are street photography, landscape scenery, and I also take portrait.
