a noticeable shift in posture , once relaxed muscles now stiff – triggered by his past and jarred by the memories that he had of his father . his jaw clenched , teeth gritting together for a mere second before brims part . ‘ then prove me wrong . show me you’re not what everyone says you are . i want to believe you . ‘
“Considering I haven’t driven you to madness yet should be a good indication that I am on your side.” She rolled her eyes, annoyance evident on her face. “How else would you like that I prove myself to you? I have done all that I can think of.”

Emanuel doesn’t bother answering that, mostly because he doesn’t really have a good satisfying answer. He’s dreamt about this place. One of those goddamn books brought him here, but forgot to mention all the supernatural suite it had with it.
Instead he concentrates on a matter which seems more pressing to him right now. Which means that he bluts out, “What are those?” and points at the faint shadowy outlines flanking the woman from each side.
The actions of the man in front of her caused the Goddess to blink in disbelief. Who was this man? He was surely crazy to come to her and ignore her. Who did he think he was? He was clearly no God as she knew them all. But no sane human would so blatantly disrespect a Goddess with her background.
“They are ghosts.” She spoke as if it was more than common knowledge. “Ghost that will not hesitate to attack if you don’t tell me why you’re here.” She snarled out, already annoyed with this human’s visit.
smash that ❤️ for a one-liner (please specify muse!)
Finally home to do some replies and asks, and no power from the storm. Fun times. I’ll be on to do replies whenever I have power again. Until then I’ll be on mobile lurking.

Dean couldn’t really understand her. He kneq she wasn’t very interested in what humans do and yet she seemed to be trying for some reason. “I have no problem…do as you like when you are here..you won’t disturb anyone and no one will disturb you” he said before walking to the bar to pour some whiskey for himself. He didn’t really know what to do with her. “Make yourself comfortable”
Ariel frowned when his back was turned. It was hard to read Dean. She never knew if he was being sincere or if he was trying to be subtle. She figured this time around, he was implying he wanted his time alone. He did say no one would disturb her, and considering it was only him here, she figured that was the way he meant it. Had she upset him somehow? She didn’t recall doing anything that would upset him, but she also didn’t know how to read Dean. She could have angered him and not known it. “Thank you for allowing me to stay. I will...be in the library if you would need me.” She stood for a moment, watching Dean, before slowly stepping out of the room, frown still evident on her face.

“Melinoe… Can I call ya Mel?” That she was sure about but nothing else really. Ray hoped while working together she could learn something. Correct the lore too. Nothing was worse than being underestimated, Ray knew that better than most. “It’s a lot I know.” She slid into the car then cranked it up. Some old rock music was on her stereo. Not her usual choice but she was missing the boys and it reminded her of the long car rides with the boys. “There are books about it. Books written by a profit of the lord. I have copies if ya wanna read.” She leaned over then dug out the first book. “Guilty pleasure of mine. “Tells ya everythin’ up ta Sam jumpin’ into the cage with Lucifer but nothin’ after where Sam was a soulless asshole n sweet angel Cas goin’ crazy n all that goodness.”
Mel...She had never had a nickname before. She was always referred to by her titles. “I am not opposed to being called that.” It actually gave her a warm feeling inside. She preferred the name already and she had only been asked if it was okay. Sliding into the car, Melinoe looked around the vehicle. It really had improved a lot since she last saw one. They looked nicer than before. “There are actually books about them?” How are these people even real? It was all insane. A prophet of the Lord, writing books about these two boys? Looking at the book, she felt her curiosity and wonder skyrocket. Within these books, she could get a better understanding, know what to expect if they were to be called down to help. It would put her mind at ease to know something about them. “Wait? Sam jumped into the cage with Lucifer? Is he insane?” The goddess was stunned. By the Gods these two were insane. Maybe she didn’t want to read about them. It would only prove her assumption right, they could and would kill her in a heartbeat.
