{☼}; “I’m sure there’s a reason, but I won’t pry.” He smirked a bit, and glanced over the menu.  He knew that no one stayed up for that long without a reason, but he also understood there were things people would rather not say. “I recommend espresso for you. You need a real kick in the rear, I think.” He chuckled as they approached the counter. For himself, he ordered just an iced latte, and motioned toward his companion, signaling that it was her turn to order.

     Jocelyn chuckled just a tad while glancing up in his direction. There weren't many people that didn't pry now a days. Usually it was all about getting inside of peoples heads and making them talk. Maybe this was his way of making her talk. Having her get close, get comfortable and then betray her. No, that definitely wasn't going to happen again. Jocelyn just needed to learn that not everyone was as evil as she believed. If she had any problems beside her sleeping habits then it was her trust issues. Jocelyn chuckled softly at that. He surely was right. As he finished she stepped up and ordered herself something hot with triple the espresso.

               "Thanks for this, by the way."

     Oh. Jocelyn watches cartoons while Jera is asleep. That's where she got her cool talking from. Don't judge her. Yup, keep that mouth shut. She ain't afraid to get the razor out.

     Jocelyn stayed beside the other but she let her hand fall from his arm as she wrapped both around her own waist. She glanced up at the menu, trying to figure out what she wanted exactly. So many choices but so little time. "Ah, I'm not quite sure." She may be tired but she wasn't tired enough to spill her deepest and darkest secrets. "It is unhealthy." She sighed softly. Maybe she should invest in some medication.
