Hi Internet community! yesterday afternoon our Lacy went missing in #Kensington #Victoria #Melbourne and we need your help to find her! She is an inside cat with outdoor supervision so she will be very frightened to have been alone and it’s breaking our hearts! Please if you are around #Northmelbourne #footscray #mooneeponds #kensington #ascotvale and any other surrounding suburbs, post a photo of cats you’ve seen that look like Lacy and hashtag it with #GoHomeLacy I appreciate you all and really stand for community coming together! I have so much love for each and every one of you reading this, please help make a difference! My contact number is 0477 414 688 and I really ask you only contact me about Lacy ❤️ #help #community #missingcat #missing #cat #family #heartbreak #lost #lostcat #pleasefindher #anythingispossible #helpus #needhelp #bringherhome (at Kensington, Victoria) https://www.instagram.com/p/BoqQnJkgBiR/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=rstjfwhljz6z
Please enjoy a surreal journey traveling into my mind and seeing the world as I see it. It starts with a ladder climbing into my mind. At the top of the ladder is a photo of 3 people, these people are actually my family members which implies family is foremost in my thoughts. As you climb into my mind, you then swim (literally) into my deepest thoughts. Popping out at the black and white open doors which there, you get a glimpse of the colourful catastrophe that is my subconscious. Then you are welcomed by my perception of myself. How I imagine myself to look. After meeting me, you’re greeted by some bizarre folk drinking tea, this implies a sort of ‘welcome to my home’ feeling as if we were to sit down and have a hot drink together. This journey continues to my sort of happy place, where there are rainbows and butterflies, tea and cats and a mix of nature, ocean and city. We spend the day there in the sun until the weather picks up which leads us to a stormy, moody wharf with floating windows and Chinese lanterns. We release these lanterns to celebrate our day together and then as the sun sets, I say farewell to you on the beach as you swing out of my mind, into space - which is reality. I enjoyed creating this visual representation of my inner-self and feel it’s really easy to perceive the journey as I intended it.

For my advanced photography assignment, I had to capture a story. My partner and I were watching this grandson and his granddad play with birds for a while. We believe the story is a granddad who has lived and learned things was departing his knowledge of how to be connected with nature and how to be peaceful and respectful. This one moment that I captured of the two looking at each other really portrays the understanding and sudden enjoyment of the moment that the grandson is having and the granddad has seen this in the boy's eyes and was overcome with satisfaction and had a fleeting moment of nostalgia for when his granddad taught him the same thing all those years ago.
