I’m just going to say it now, because it has been bugging me for a while.

There is nothing wrong with self/oc x canon shipping.

As long as you’re not doing anything ilegal, fighting people or sending death threats to others who like the same character, you’re fine.

It’s honestly sad when i see an artist having fun and shipping their oc with canon, being wholesome and making some cute scenarios, only to see the backlash.

It’s not cringy to ship oc x canon.

It’s not ‘cool’ to make fun of artists for having creativity.

It’s not bad to make an OC that’s a self insert.

Please, can we abandon this behavior already…?
