          “boring?” she asks, affecting a curious little tilt of the head, widened eyes. “why, i did not think it possible for dorne to be boring!” though she still smiles, there is the flash (just a moment’s briefest spark) of something like homesickness in her eyes, quelled and hidden before it ever could spark to life. “it is different,” she agrees, “but i like it very much! prince doran and princess arianne are very kind to me, and trystane is the dearest prince in all the world.” she is all sweetness, now, as she has been since first she came to dorne : still learning who she wishes to see the other parts of her. the smarter parts, the sharper parts. “i am learning to play cyvasse,” she says. “do you play, my lady?” 

     “ one does grow tired of the same old jokes the merchants like to tell, ”   the woman replies with a light laugh, lips pulled into a beaming smile as she looked at myrcella. she was glad to see her friend once again, especially since rellaria was not normally allowed to leave the safety of her family’s home - due to the paranoia of her family. but, now, she felt a little more free.   “ i am so glad you are happy. they will take wonderful care of you. ”   eyes flicker around before focusing back to her friend,   “ oh, i do! though, i must admit, i am not very good. ”

The woman who’s voice those words belonged to , was graced with a friendly response . Smile painting over porcelain features , and words toned with excitement . The Tyrell was quite the social butterfly , and always welcomed company to those who would approach her – Rich or poor . ❛  Hello there , Can I help you with something – ?   ❜ She asked kindly before taking a step closer to the woman , her attempt to break distance and make her feel more comfortable in the rose’s presence . 

the caracal was a little shy, trying her best to appear as kind as possible.   “ um, i do hate to bother you but i am a new to king’s landing and was hoping you would be welcome to some company. ”   it came off a little rough and rellaria certainly hoped that she could have a redo. but this is what they had.   “ if you wish, of course. ”

Brush those thoughts aside, will you?     ❛  Are you adjusting well? The cold can be quite merciless or so I have been told.  ❜

     she knew much of the houses in westeros, as did many of the children who were born to lords and ladies. it was something they were all required to learn. many would say it was out of kindness or respect, but the teachers of dorne told rellaria the true reason: to know the players in the game and to learn their weaknesses. of course, dorne never got involved in sch trivial matters but they were always ready. just in case.

     “ as am i, queen sansa, ”   the woman responds with a warm smile, skin still looking as if the sun was shining upon it despite the northern clouds covering it’s rays. instead of the dresses she loved so much, a burnt orange coat wrapped up the girl, covered her skin from the sun - something that felt so odd.   “ it is certainly an adjustment. i do not see how you an live without the warmth of the sun. i suppose that it why people of the north are so hearty and strong. ”

          “ lady rellaria? “ surprise transforms to happy greeting quickly : the princess’s courtesies are well-trained, extending even to expressions of the face. “of course i do not mind - - - it is good to see you once again. i hope all is well in planky town?” she is curious, that much is plain : she does not hide it. it’s there in the shape of her smile, in the glance of her eyes. “i hope you had a pleasant journey?” 

     lips have pulled into a bright smile as the other recognizes rellaria - if she had been honest, rell feared that myrcella might not remember her.   “ all is well, though sometimes boring, ”   she responds in a light tone, allowing a breath of laughter to escape.   “ oh it was short. i wanted to come and see how you were adjusting to dorne. i know it is far different than westeros. ”

     THE GARDENS WERE BEAUTIFUL, the flora that resided in king’s landing catching the attention of the young jast woman. it was different than what she was used to seeing but it still caught her attention. though this attention was pulled from the flowers to a woman that wore them, gliding past the other. rellaria was new to this city and found herself almost desperate for friendship. so, quickly, she trailed behind the other,   “ excuse me? my lady? ”

     NOW THAT THE NEW KING WAS DECIDED, the people who had been in the meeting were beginning to disperse, though some lingered to speak to the others. rellaria was desperate to get into the city to see what it looked like, curious as to the amount of damage done by the former dragon queen. after giving a quick whisper to her prince of dorne, the woman began to move towards the exit of the dragon pit. but feet stumble upon themselves when another cross her path, forcing the young woman to attempt to stop herself.

     “ oh, pardon me. i should be more careful. ”

     SHE HAD BEEN ONE of those to greet myrcella when she first arrived to dorne, offering a smiling welcome. but that was awhile ago and rellaria had found herself thinking of the girl, wondering if she was doing alright. after a short journey to sunspear, she began to move through the gardens in search of the golden hair that belonged to the girl. it did not take her long to find the odd one and soon she was greeting,   “ lady myrcella, i hope you do not mind. ”

     SHE LOVED VISITORS, loved when they stepped through her doors to greet her with whatever they might have ; stories, presents, or something else, it all excited her. rellaria gives a nod to the guard at the door to let the latest traveler enter into the hall, and the girl could only open that he had quite the store to tell.

     SHE WAS GOING TO BE FORMAL, to put on the facade of a grand house, but when rellaria saw the woman who stepped into the hall all of that went away. the young one stood from her seat,   “ ellaria? what are you doing here? ”   rel moved closer to the woman, waving to her guards to cease their tension.

     HEAD WAS HELD HIGH, back was straight ; the very ways she had been taught by her teacher for so many years. this is how a lady sits, they would say, she sits as if she rules the world. it felt so odd to rellaria though, to be in such a stance, but with her family gone to starfall, it left her to lead the house. dark eyes look to the stranger before her and the young child does her best to sound dignified.   “ and who is it who stands before me? ”

     MEETING ENDED, people began to stand and move to the person who held their interest. the dark-haired girl moved away from her prince quickly towards the red-haired queen. she snaked through the people before finding herself before the other.   “ sansa, is it? ”   a bow of the head,   “ rellaria of house jast, your grace. ”

     THE HALLS WERE CONFUSING, they went up and down then left and right, then ended all together. rellaria had decided to go off on her own, away from the martell men, to explore what belong to the people of this landing. it was fascinating up until the point when she got lost. for awhile she moved around in circles, lost, until finding an open door. peering through it, the girl spotted someone around her age fixing a bed.   “ excuse me, ”   rellaria speaks,   “ i’m a little lost. could you help me, please? ”

     WIDE EYES ADMIRE the gardens of the red keep, hand occassionally reaching out to touch fragile peddles. the flora of king’s landing was much different than that of sunspear ; plants that were much more delicate lived here, and rellaria was sure it was the same for the people. people here looked so much more frail than those back in dorne, far more fragile...even the colors they were. gaze had been placed upon some ladies walking by when the young jast woman felt herself hit something hard, forcing her to step back a few steps. when she looks to what it was, the girl moved even farther back,   “ forgive me, lord jamie. ”
