Sweet LORD. That drawing of Bob tied up looking feral is EXCELLENT. I’ve always pictured him as a purely dominate character who DOES the tying up. But unhinged restrained is such a vibe. Like a caged wild animal lmao.
I just got a question about Bob and Frank! I was reading your last post about them and it got me curious, what are their flaws? And I while I can imagine they probably have quite a list. It could be on a romance aspect or just in general. I’m loving the way you portray their character. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen with these two. So, it just got me a little curious about what you’d come up with.

so
Bob is meticulously obsessive. Not only when infatuated with someone or when he's craving a bite, but in his normal life as well. I would describe how he goes about his daily routine as obsessive. (this is all just my own lore stuff) Since starting up the diner, he has a decently rigid routine that he likes to keep to. This is an aftereffect from being in prison for so long, he keeps a timely routine of work, leisure, working out, sleep, etc. He's found a good balance that still gives him time out of town for murdery business.
The obsessiveness (of course) hits the romantic side of him too. If he finds romantic interest in someone, he can become infatuated and then dangerously obsessive and controlling. Wanting to know where you are, who you're with, controlling what you eat, all that stuff. He had pressured a girl into engagement after dating a short while and, when she finally had the nerve to try and leave, he killed and ate her in desperation and greed. This was the one that sent him to prison since she had a family and stuff. He's got a new traveler he has an eye on now （ΦωΦ)
Another fun 'flaw' is that he refuses to dim himself. Even if he wasn't a murdery weirdo, he has a loud and overwhelming personality that matches his physique. If he notices it makes you uncomfortable, he'll turn it up some more to watch you squirm. Though, even if people push back, he doesn't back down either so there's no winning when he wants to loom his presence over people. He thinks it's funny when others are so uncomfy.
He's like also actually really bad at taking out the trash though and needs constant reminders. Even Frank is like dude cmon
He likes black licorice ??? ew???/?
Obvs one but he's murderous! Like wow! He's tried to kill Frank before! It's hard to be around this guy long-term. He has less-than-good impulse control.
As for Frankie- -
I've said this one before but it's still a flaw is he's got hella bad hygiene and doesnt really give a shit. Yeah he'll shower or somethin' but it's def not a priority every week. He keeps his hair short just for maintenance. and shaves 'cause he doesnt like being hairy. He makes fun of Bob for his hairiness
He's a mild klepto. Like he doesn't break into people's homes or anything but yknow.... kid stealing is one. He steals cars, shit from stores, pick-pockets. He's friends w the local pawnshop guy that he barters with.
He uses slurs but like one of those guys that tries to be like 'i use them for everyone so it's okay'. Bob beat him up one time so he at least doesn't do it around him or at the diner. He's not legit anything-phobic, he just knows it'll cut the deepest when used correctly.
He doesn't like dogs :(
And one thing they both share is that they lie all. the. time. Do not believe a single thing these dudes say about their private lives or past lives or anything. Like, spoiler alert, Bob has n o t owned this diner for 10 years are you kidding. Don't trust these two! Oh no!!!

I'd lean Bob into being a sadist, too, tbh. He likes to inflict pain, make people hurt, use his size/strength against others. When not using knives, he's someone who will take out a belt before using his hand. The more marks and bruising he leaves, the more he feels he owns you and likes it.

Frank is a voyeur, I've said before. So he's a big peeper. He binoculars into windows, stands under stairs to look up skirts, and he's even watched in on Bob because of the kick. Bob knew he did it while they bunked in prison, but he does it in house too. He hasn't been caught yet. Yes, he has a few webcams. Don't change in front of the mirror at his house at the least.
On the flip, while not an exhibitionist, he does the thrill of doing it in a public-like space (the car in a lot, a dressing room, a bathroom, etc), but he doesn't actually want to get caught. He usually makes sure he'll probs get away w it before even trying and will stop if he needs to.
While he doesn't do this one often, it's a big favourite of his to fuck on drugs. He's tried most, got addicted to coke for a while, and has been relatively sober since a year after his sentence. He only does this one his birthday but he goes HAM.
He has Acarophilia, or really gets off to being scratched. Like if he's chilling on the couch and you come up and scratch down his neck or shoulders he will be ON you in seconds. Bob teases him.
