My boyfriend loves pokemon cards, so I'd love to get him a framed card art print for his desk at his office! Are these even sold, or is the artwork exclusively for the cards? Do you know where I'd be able to find any? Thank you very much :) You have a wonderful blog!!
Thanks! Unfortunately, aside from one or two Japanese Pokemon card art books, I’m pretty sure the only way to get a hold of the art is on the actual cards. You could possibly scan a card you like, or find a high res image and have it printed with a nice printer at a print shop though. That might be your best bet.

Funny it's the first time I've seen one of my scans re-posted without the source! It's not my art of course but I always give credit to the artists. Just silly that someone would save my scan and re-post it in order to remove the cardart source and artists name! My original post here (the scratches on the card are the same)

To that Yugioh/Digimon anon, while I don't know about Digimon, Yugioh has a card art blog! Their username is fyeahygocardart and they post the majority of them in extremely HQ too, as well as even anime-only cards, which the official site has started to release decent-sized art of.
Would you ever consider posting cards other than Pokemon?! The other very popular (and pretty) card franchises are YuGiOh and Digimon, but I bet there are lots of different trading cards out there with beautiful art!
Actually when I first made the blog I was throwing around the idea of posting any kind of card art, not just Pokemon. But Pokemon is the only TCG I've really stayed with or stayed interested in. The art on Pokemon cards has inspired my own art since the base set, so I thought I should keep it just Pokemon :)
