I am sexually aroused when someone can't breathe, get excited, and have a fast heart beat in the TV series I watch. Especially men. But lately I've noticed that women can turn me on in heartbeat asmr videos too. A man is always more attractive. And it bothers me when someone interferes with listening to my heart. When men say, "I can't breathe, my heart is tight, my heart is beating so fast", it turns me on instantly. At least it feels weird. I don't get wet with anything but that. Am i normal?

I'm iffy on if I'm actually a cardiophile, is there a "sure fire" way to know or is it like any other thing; to each their own decision?

It’s up to you to decide if you want to identify as one or not. Generally, if you have a special fascination with hearts, especially if it is sexual/erotic in nature, then you’d be safe to consider yourself one.

I feel like the only Cardiophile who isn't sexually attracted/turned on by heartbeats, for me, heartbeats are calming and hearing my partner's heartbeat is happy experience for me.

There are plenty of cardiophiles who aren’t strictly aroused by heartbeats. Even those that are aroused by them don’t always see them as a sexual thing, and enjoy them as a calming thing just as much or even more than as a sexual thing. You’re not weird or alone. Sexuality and fetishes are a much more complex thing than people think.

Don't know if you've heard yet, but now they're making stethoscopes that you can hear AND see the heartbeat with (or whatever organ you're checking). It's battery powered, has a bell warmer, and a little screen on the examiner's side. ;)

whats the best way to make your heartbeat visible?

Usually the heartbeat is most visible after excercising or taking a hot shower (when your heart is pumping harder). Also, if you lie down and put something relatively weighty on your chest you might be able to see it move up and down with your heartbeat, especially if you hold your breath (but don't hold it for too long of course!). These tips might not work for everyone, but they are worth a try.

I'm not a cardiophile, and I don't know much about it to be honest., But I can see the appeal I guess? Somewhat anyway. From a purely medical standpoint the heart is fascinating in all that it does. From the other standpoint I think it seems pretty romantic. The heart is considered the very center of one's being so I guess to be excited by the heart of someone is a compliment to the person who harbors the heart.

This is a pretty sweet message so we thought we'd post it. Still accepting problems if you've got em!

Funnily enough, as a cardiophile, I find it really hard to sleep while listening to heartbeats since I get excited every time.

Well, it's different for everyone. When I feel like I'm losing control of my anger, I use heartbeat recordings or my stethoscope to calm myself down. Same when I have nightmares, though in most other situations I do get excited more than anything. Even with something specific like a fetish/kink, there can be tons of variety!
