if the mismatch in labels distresses you more than the sex would please you, then don’t. that’s also fine.
you can always sit down and reevaluate later, if it’s significant to you
but it’s important to prioritize what is actually fulfilling and comfortable over what the imagined court of public opinion might say if it scrutinized your intimate life
In the end we're all individuals and the words we've made are there for us to try to communicate the similarities and differences we have with others.
