Felt like testing out some simple animation again after seeing @garama‘s latest awesome piece. Definitely more of a visual novel feel here than an anime, but ah well I like it well enough! For someone who usually works in like 5 layers tops for an entire file, the amount of separation in this was freaking maddening. ALSO probably shouldn’t have done it as a full paper sized 300dpi document! My PC did not enjoy looping that full res animation! lol

Here’s a project I’ve been working on for a bit! I wanted to do mock color keys, so I decided to take something pre-existing and make scene keys for it, which ended up being kirby 64! Kirby is simple, so he makes for a good canvas to use different schemes and lighting. I totally recommend doing color keys of a game or movie; I really learned a lot about decision making from doing this!
