PLEASE BOOST THIS!!!! This is 17 year old Lennon Lacy he was HUNG from a park swing in 2014. This is three minutes away from my hometown where they are known to be racist. We went to high school together and when his death was announced it was the saddest news ever. They ruled his death a suicide even though his 31 year old white girlfriend said their relationship led to his death. Lennon was found wearing shoes 2 times his size (not the shoes he left home with). There was so much that was not right with the investigation. They closed his case not long after that and it has been swept under the rug. Our little county has done as much as we can to bring awareness to this. UNC-TV even made a documentary about it called “The Hanging” but it has since been removed. We have marched and protested but they don’t care. Yesterday someone posted this women stating her and her husband were in the KKK. She also said that they had something to do with hanging a black boy in a park in Bladen County. People are trying to share this but our county doesn’t care. No one is trying to help his family find justice. PLEASE BRING AWARENESS TO THIS AND GIVE HIS FAMILY HOPE!!!
