⋆ ⭒˚｡ [ turku su demirel, cis woman, she/her, muse t. ] i can’t believe i just saw EMINA HAZAR down at the rodeo ! you know, the twenty nine year old philanthropist that’s been in willow glen for three years ? i always see them hanging around amber lounge and live out in redbud manor — which sounds about right considering how much they remind me of huffing away about your minor complaints and not realizing how out of touch you sound, clothes scattered around the floor of your bedroom, facetuning all of your insta pics, a bathroom sink lined with high-end skincare products, dirty looks from the bartenders after one too many nights of one too many shots. most of the residents in willow glen tend to describe meens as being real vivacious, but the town’s rumor mill would say otherwise, claiming they can be rather detached behind closed doors. i’ve never seen that side of them, but lately we’ve all heard about her dad buying her way into college, which has gotten a lot of folks in town talking. emina is the daughter of a late rockstar. concerned she was doing nothing with her life, her dad bought her way into an ivy league school when she was twenty. (a lot of good it did her. she showed up for house parties more than she attended class.) she wound up dropping out during her second year. she moved into a fancy condo in manhattan on his dime. she started doing temp work, primarily as a receptionist, where she could phone it in (pun not intended). she didn't have any big career ambitions, or rather she didn't possess the patience to learn a new skill. most things were still covered by her dad's credit cards. her dad was her only known family member. when he died, she searched for her purpose in life. she inherited his estate. while she's keen to continue spending like the money will keep flowing in, she has donated some of it to charity. more than anything, she likes cosplaying as a business person. she likes wearing office clothes without having to clock in and taking meetings. she gets to do a little bit of event planning in the process too.
personality wise, she's a social butterfly. inadvertently, she makes a lot of things about herself. attention is currency to her. deep down, a lot of it is to distract from any of the ugly feelings (feeling unwanted, feeling like people don't like her for her, feeling unlovable). she tends to toy with people and manipulate them (or at least attempt to) to cure her own loneliness.
