Dawn

The springtime of life demands ready hopes: banners, stars, crosses, sickles and hammers. But the shell of dogma lacks what matters, and so I threw away the easy copes.

Then I reaped the full fruits of my own youth; wolfish, I ate both the sweet and bitter. I found no sense in vomit or glitter, gained nothing in turning away from truth.

My eyes now gaze at what lies past the dark, my soul is an oblation to the night as the flaying of deceit carries on.

Taking is the flood, and giving the ark that ferries us to the terrific light. If love is the Truth, then you are my dawn.
