for other people who are being affected hard by the new, terrible color palette staff thought would be “more accessible”, i highly recommend downloading a chrome extension called dark reader. it can either have a “dark” mode which will invert and change colors, or a “light” mode where you can leave the colors the same but put down the contrast.

So, I don’t know how many of you were around / have seen my doubts about this blog and continuing to write Delila either at all or on a different, fresh blog. Good news? I’ve made a decision, and while there really isn’t bad news, it may be Not Great or well-liked by some of you -- which is fine because, not to be a dick, I’m doing this for me. Despite how...gross dumblr has become ( in many aspects, not just the recent stuff poorly handled by staff ), I enjoy being here and talking to my rp partners.
Anyway, the long-and-short of it is: I’m doing a complete overhaul and revamp of Delila. That’s the version in layman’s terms. The other, more involved and kind of emotional version ( on my end, anyway ), is I am ending this particular chapter in regards to writing this muse in this way. Delila has been my baby for 5 years and a lot has changed, both with her and myself, and if I’m to continue writing on this hellsite at all, then I need a mostly fresh start.
Now. What does this mean for threads currently ongoing? Nothing. Until everything is set up and I’ve determined a few other things, I’ll still be doing my best to do replies here, but I probably won’t be starting new threads. This post was really just an update for anyone that was particularly curious or cared.
TL;DR: this blog will eventually become defunct as I largely move on from Delila and write a character that is the same, but wholly different, and has parts of Delila I love as well as new qualities.

Delila is insecure about a scar she has on her left side from the day her parents died. Other than possibly changing with someone around or being intimate with a partner, she doesn't even think about it or care, but the moment someone else is involved, she becomes very uncomfortable.
