When Elle listed the food restrictions, Carla had about five seconds of panicking and trying to remember which (if any) recipes she knew would meet all of the criteria. "Oh, you scared me for a moment. I would need to get very creative if that was true." She laughed, realizing how obvious the lie had been. "Okay, we can work with that. I wouldn't expect a big american breakfast, but we'll figure it out as we go." Carla was frankly too brazilian to have something like eggs and bacon in the morning, so it was tough to think of an early meal that didn't involve sugar or bread, but she hoped there would be some fruits available, at least. And coffee. Lots of coffee. "It all depends on what ingredients they give us. Let's hope for variety." And also prepare for the worse.
