disney descendants + core four + genderswap
Carla - Daughter of Cruella De Vil. Like her mother, she loves fashion, though she shies away from anything involving fur since she’s grown to have a fear of dogs. (Looking at the fur coats her mother makes her keep a close eye on makes her shudder.) She also is the least evil of the four, only really clicking with them due to the abuse they’ve all received over the years from their parents. Like her friends, she’s hesitant to go to the Isle, though if she were to be honest, she, like Evan, is kind of excited to see some pretty princesses in person.
Jayden - Daughter of Jafar. She was raised to steal anything and everything, knowing all the tricks there are in deceiving people and getting her way. Of course, the older she’s gotten, the more she’s come to use her body to her advantage, though she’s become sick of it. But she’ll do anything, or anyone, to make her father proud, so for now she keeps quiet and does as she’s told. She’s actually looking forward to visiting the Isle, because she’s heard there’s quite a lot of riches and treasures there. Maleficent wants Mason to steal the Fairy Godmother’s wand for her own evil desires, but Jayden’s out to get it so she and her father can live a better, richer life.
Mason - Son of Maleficent. He was raised in his mother’s shadow, practically becoming evil by default as his mother is the most hated woman in the land, causing him to be as excluded as she is. Due to this, he tends to hold grudges against people, though luckily he’s come to enjoy the company of Jayden, and because of the last quest he went on for his mother, Evan and Carla too. He really doesn’t want to go to the Isle, because yet again he’s being forced to steal something for his mother, but stealing things can be fun, he supposes. He just hopes no princesses end up getting in his way.
Evan - Son of Evil Queen. Though he’s a boy and has never once thought to question it (although he has read that it’s possible to physically be one gender while mentally be another), he’s become quite an expert when it comes to makeup, but besides being able to perfectly critique and help his mother with hers, it’s only become an advantage after he befriended Carla (who isn’t that big on makeup but still has fun letting Evan use her as a model). He wants to be more than just these basic skills, but his mother has it set in stone that things like smarts don’t matter on a place as worthless as the Isle. So now Evan’s looking forward to a break, hoping to finally be able to reach his full potential in Auradon and let people see him for who he really is. (And, if he’s lucky, find a nice princess who can love him despite his evil past.)
