Look, it's the way he'd do it for any woman, not just the ones who are beautiful and important. It's the way she doesn't need anything from anyone. It's the way he wouldn't do it if she didn't want him to. The way he still does it even when he's cross. It's the way she demands it from others to humble them, to make them submit because it's one way society allows her to be given her due. It's the way he does it conspicuously so others will see it and know she must be shown respect. It's the way he knows she doesn't need anything from anyone. It's the way he doesn't let go until she does. It's the way she gifts him the permission to be chivalrous because he would never demand it. It's the way he knows that she's doing it - and he finds that gift a wonder.

Fortunately she's easy to lure out, because hers is the greed described in the bible. She knows her name but the problem is that verbal recall is never, ever going to be as valuable as a warm, humid hole (because ofc the dishwasher was going when this happened), so I had to lure her gluttonous ass out with a reptilink.
Anyways, I'm stopping at the dollar store for a pool noodle after work because this hole needs filling and I would prefer to be the one to fill it- not the damn lizard.

The vulcan who made first contact with humans is named Solkar guys. Y’all just be makin’ up names for characters that already have names.

I swear Vulcans only come in two types and they are “distant xenophobes” or “horny on main for humanity”. Also apparently this guy is Spock’s great-grandfather and frankly that explains everything.
Hey so I looked into this at one point and that handshake literally created a lifelong telepathic bond between the two of them, and basically all of Solkar’s descendants were later obsessed with humans, including freaking SPOCK, so I’m not saying that handshake was so gay and good that it created an intergenerational telepathic bond between Solkar’s descendants and humans, but I’m also not….not….saying that.

The slow deliberation with which Solkar takes Cockrane’s–I’m sorry, Cochrane’s–hand… The sheer sensuality witch which Solkar infuses an otherwise borderline impersonal social ritual… It clearly shows a very conscious knowledge, on Solkar’s part, of what the significance of the handshake is in Vulcan terms and of how affected he is by it.
That’s why he’s so slow in doing it, and so sensual. A part of Solkar can’t believe this is happening, despite it being a perfectly logical thing to expect from a human, and the rest of him can’t believe how good it is.
I bet that if the camera zoomed in any further we would see the dilation of Solkar’s pupils and a quickly-repressed shiver of delight. Cochrane’s firm, businesslike clasp is probably (in sexual terms) being perceived as a deliciously carnal display of dominance.
No wonder Solkar is all like, “TAKE ME, YOU WILD-MANNERED BARBARIAN WITH ENTICINGLY ROUGH CALLUSES.”
And so we find out that yes, there is such a thing as bottoming in Pon-farr.

Error system.
Shang Qinghua is such a mood in this drawing. This is my biggest piece I’ve made these past day. Honestly if I do color environments, there must be saturated colors or else it’s too boring for me to do it.
Sometimes I feel like my 18 y.o self. Because it’s summer and I am sad. A lot of different applications I’ve made has been rejected. And it’s hard not to feel unmotivated. Connecting with people can be hard too.
But then I remember I’m not eighteen anymore. I have a lots of ressources and my life is a lot brighter than before. So I will take my eighteen year old self’s hand and tell them
