As a Carlos fan/Carlando fan first/not a fan of Charles at all, I haven't found the F1 social media account coverage of Carlos to be lacking of him any more than any other midfield driver. Completely my sole opinion, but I think we're just unfortunately used to him being in more posts every weekend because he would be on podiums and fighting for top spots. This past weekend, they really only focused on Kimi -- I honestly felt terrible for George.
As far as the movie premiere goes, they definitely seemed to do solo posts for men who were there with their partners, Lewis who is a part of the movie, as well as Lando who is in champion contention, but in comparison to Isack, Yuki, Franco, etc., I actually think Carlos got more coverage than them. Lando didn't even get covered by the McLaren social media account at all, which is a whole other bag of worms.
But just one person's opinion! I'll obviously always take more Carlos.
This isn't about coverage during race weekends loll. I mean save for the fact that he has always been on the receiving end of little to no coverage by broadcasters during race and quali since his McLaren days to the point that his team had to speak up. This is about the f1 social media account completely ignoring his existence during last night's event. I mean he did get a lot of coverage by different cameras,reporters, and fans because duh that's Carlos sainz but none from f1 itself. They made a separate post for every driver. Even those who weren't with their girlfriends like Yuki and Franco but nothing for Carlos. It has nothing to do with midfield.
