I did take the pictures, no problem asking. These are in front of my apartment building.  My plan is spending the next few days taking dupe shots from the shots I took a year ago.

I'm doing a retrospective, then and now shots from Hurricane Sandy.

First shot: Sandy arriving, 10:30am Oct 29, 2012. The water is washing over the walkway.

Second shot: A year later, 11:05am Oct 29, 2012. A bright sunny day and the water is at least 10 feet lower.
