I just can't think that Shelob is a villain because she keeps to her own space. Don't go to Cirith Ungol, don't get eaten, it's pretty fair. She's a great big giant spider and if she sees something that looks food sized she tries to eat it, like...so what, that's what spiders do? That's what most carnivores do. Arguably, what makes Shelob worse than the same guys who go out into the forest to hunt deer, or who shoot birds from the sky? At least the prey comes to Shelob, she ain't intruding on their space. Also she's got big blinky eyes and fuzzy wuzzy legs how can you not stan?

like i don’t think they realize that, in order for byler to work post-canon, it has to be mike putting in the work. he’s the one who has to reach out, apologize, show that he’s changed, and be the one to prove to will that he’s serious about them. he shouldn’t be expecting will to act like his therapist and emotional crutch anymore, shouldn’t expect will to drop everything to be there for him for nothing in return, and will shouldn’t be used to “fix him” or motivate him to get his shit together.

All these “they are soulmates” talks only benefit Mike’s character for now, as it appears that any boy Will dates is merely a distraction. Regardless of what Mike does or doesn’t do, Will is always going to return to him. This dynamic is unhealthy and degrading for both. Mike needs to put in effort, and Will is not responsible for dragging him out of the closet.
