“O my God and my infinite Wisdom, without measure and without bounds, high above all the understanding both of angels and of men! O Love, You who love me more than I can love myself or conceive of love! What amazes and bewilders me, considering what we are, is the love You had for us and still have. I am so astounded that I am beside myself.
“How could my will not incline to love You? O Lord, I have received from You so many signs of love and I want to repay You, at least in some small way. I am especially moved by the thought that You, because You truly love me, never leave me but go with me everywhere and give me being and life. I know that I can never have a better friend”
⚘St Teresa of Jesus
Exclamations of the Soul to God 17; Conceptions of the Love of God 2; Interior Castle II, 1).
May Jesus find in our heart
His rest and His joy.
May He hide there forever.
-🌹St Elizabeth of the Trinity
The guest of our soul knows our misery; He comes to find an empty tent within us - that is all He asks."
🌹St. Therese of Lisieux
"Here in the tiny Host, I find the fruit of love."
🌹St. Therese of Lisieux
"Launch your souls on the waves of confidence and abandonment, and remember that anything that troubles it or throws it into fear does not come from God, for He is the Prince of Peace, and He promises that peace to those of good will."
🌹 St Elizabeth of the Trinity
Everything fails me, O my Lord; but if Thou wilt not abandon me, I will never fail Thee. Let all the learned rise up against me, — let the whole creation persecute me, — let the evil spirits torment me, — but do Thou, O Lord, fail me not; for I know by experience now the blessedness of that deliverance which Thou dost effect for those who trust only in Thee.
🌹St Teresa of Avila
Prayer is an act of love; words are not needed. Even if sickness distracts from thoughts, all that is needed is the will to love.
🌹Saint Teresa of Avila
The Amazing Love of God
The good God does not need years to accomplish His work of love in a soul; one ray from His Heart can, in an instant, make His flower bloom for eternity! 🌹St Therese of Lisieux
My Sweet Lord, only Your love can heal and transform us. We rely on Your word to give us a new heart and a new spirit. Only your Love can remove our hearts of stone and give us a heart of flesh in an instant! (Ezekiel 36:26) Help us today to turn to You and Your amazing Love.❤Amen
I live in the heaven of faith, in the center of my soul, and I try to give joy to my Master by being, even here on earth, the praise of glory.
🌹St Elizabeth of the Trinity
Always think of yourself as everyone's servant; look for Christ Our Lord in everyone and you will then have respect and reverence for them all.
🌹St Teresa de Jesús
Thérèse was so convinced about how much we need to love the love that is mercy – instead of some twisted, inept infatuation with justice – that she made it the theme of a little Christmas play she wrote and performed for the community in 1894.
In the play, the Angel of Judgment approaches the infant Jesus in
the manger and says this:
Have you forgotten, Jesus, O Beauty supreme, that the sinner
must at last be punished? I will chastise the crime in judgment;
I want to exterminate all the ungrateful. My sword is ready!
Jesus, sweet victim! My sword is ready!! I am set to avenge
you!!! (Theatre au Carmel, Paris: Cerf DDB, 1985, p. 108,
author’s translation)
And the baby Jesus replies:
O beautiful angel! Put down your sword. It is not for you to judge the nature that I raise up and that I
wish to redeem. The one who will judge the world is myself, the one named Jesus!
The life-giving dew of my Blood will purify all my chosen ones.
Don’t you know that faithful souls always give me consolation in the face of the blasphemies of the unfaithful by a simple look
of love? (ibid.)
Excerpt from 'First Steps on the Little Way'of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux
by FATHER PETER JOHN CAMERON, O.P.
DO LITTLE THINGS WITH GREAT LOVE
St. Therese, Little Flower, grant that I may follow your Little Way through Mary to Jesus –– the way of simplicity, joy, meekness and humility of heart, devotion to my vocation, constant prayer, self-immolation, abandonment of my will to the Will of God and confidence and love in Jesus.” Amen
“You must not set yourself up as a judge-that is God’s right alone - your only mission is to be an angel of peace.” 🌹St. Therese of Lisieux
There exists but one Being capable of comprehending love; it is Jesus; He alone can give us back infinitely more than we shall ever give to him.
🌹St Therese of Lisieux

Thought for the Day
"O my God, I ask you . . . to be my holiness!"
🌹St Therese of Lisiuex
'I leave you my faith in the presence of God, of the God who is all Love dwelling in our souls. I confide to you: it is this intimacy with Him 'within' that has been the beautiful sun illuminating my life, making it already an anticipated Heaven: it is what sustains me today in my suffering.'
🌹St Elizabeth of the Trinity
A letter written just a few weeks before her death in the year 1906, as a young Carmelite nun to her friend Antoinette.
