Facebook, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. are tricking ‘traditional’ publishers. They are 100% in the same content business. They just own the entire stack. They also double as the printing press: As the content management system for millions of creators to express themselves. They also triple as the broadcast satellites: As the distribution engines for millions of creators to get guaranteed distribution for their content.
