Who am I? Escritos499? CaritoTheQueen?
Let me tell you my story…
While I was editing my novels, I wanted to write this. I’ve been part of Wattpad since 2017. It’s been almost ten years writing about this universe. In 2026, I finally opened myself to new corners of the Soy Luna universe. I started posting edits on TikTok, created this Tumblr account, and joined the Reddit forum. I also broke through my fear and, for the first time, began publishing on AO3, a place that scared me because I understood absolutely nothing.
I was a Wattpad girl all my life. And to this day, I still am. That place is my home. A home I abandoned at the beginning of 2020, leaving behind my original account with almost 600 followers and stories with 17k, 24k, and 30k reads. Who would’ve thought Wattpad would one day delete my stories and leave only one. My biggest mistake is still abandoning that account, because I lost it forever. It’s still alive on Wattpad, as @CaritoTheQueen4.
In 2022, I tried to come back as a reader and then tried writing, but I couldn’t. The magic was gone. Finally, after learning that Valentina Zenere wouldn’t return to Soy Luna, I decided to come back in December 2025, after almost six years away. I was terrified to return. I barely had three followers, the ones I got in 2022, and two of them had abandoned their accounts. I literally started from zero. Incredibly, the magic of Soy Luna came back to me, and I was able to write the Brillo Trilogy about Ámbar’s life after Soy Luna 3, and from there, I became myself again.
I’m no longer Carito, the girl with thirty spelling mistakes who loved coming home from school to write. Today I’m Carolina, a bit more grown, still a little girl at heart. I also feel like I’m healing my inner child by returning to live Soy Luna again.
I thought about disappearing, publishing one story and then going back into the shadows. But you’ve given me a love I never expected. Reaching 113 followers on Wattpad in just eight months, having 1k comments and more than 5k reads on my novels is something I never imagined back in that December when I returned. I also never imagined having AO3 stories with more than 50 kudos and more than 100 comments, that surprised me even more. And even less did I imagine surpassing 1,000 likes on Tumblr, considering this is my first year using the app.
So yeah. I’m really emotional about this 2026. Every day I wake up thinking about each person who follows me, whether here, on Wattpad, or AO3. It’s hours and hours dedicated to this, but know that I do it with my heart, even if sometimes my novels give me terrible insomnia and make me sleepy at university.
A bit long, but I felt the need to write this. For someone who was part of the fandom in 2017, returning in 2026 and receiving all this love has been a gift. Without a doubt, know that you’ll have me around for a long while.
And this wasn’t written by Escritos499. It was written by Carolina 💛💫
