Hey guys, so I’m having trouble logging in on the actual app (don’t know why) so I’ll be having some difficulties posting, but I can post on my firefox app (because it lets me log on here and not on the app for some reason) so uh yeah. Will update
You know, I didn't realized something weird.
We all talk about how annoying that time travel scene was, the nakedness being our big complaint.
But guys, Patton time traveled.
Patton appeared in front of Seth book three.
Patton was not naked.
I think it had something to do with the fact that the clothes didn't exist yet when they went backwards? And maybe patton's clothes he was wearing could have been in a useable condition after like 100 years? Or maybe brandy didnt want to have the super cool hero guy flash his great nephew(I think)? The whole time travel thing is weird.
*side note: since the sphinx went back in time, does this mean he was completely naked in the demon prison?
Yes it does! He mentioned that in his planning!
Also, idk, that's an interesting theory, though I feel like the clothes should've been pretty threadbare by then, and so he should've appeared in raggedy clothes.
Or you know, he might have come up with clothes don't appear after he wrote book three.
I think it was a completely separate function. Patton was a set version of himself to appear for three days when someone pressed a button, but the other thing was going back in time with a group of people for thirty minutes.
That doesn't change the fact that it's time travel. And what kind of change in functions makes it so only one kind of time travel makes you lose your clothes?
That seems like bad planning.
No, there's either some sort of plot hole or it's like @hopelesshornets said and it might be cause one was going forward in time so the clothes existed, while the other was going back in time so the clothes weren't made yet.
On that note though, would you be able to keep your clothes if you wore clothes that were made before the time youre travelling too?
What do you think @certain-death-awaits @carolinelovesdinner (sorry you two just usually have really interesting ideas for this sort of thing, feel free to ignore)
I think it might be so that you couldn't take important things to the past. Not sure if that makes sense, but its my theory. Or maybe Brandon Mull is just obsessed with magical nudity.
Stan: Okay Seth, you can't go into the woods under any circumstances.
Seth, already on his way into the woods:
you know the fear that radiates from demons and dragons, does that fear affect braken the same way it affects kendra?
During the battle of zzyzx the reason everyone was able to fight the demons without having to worry about magical fear was because of the presence of the unicorns. Unicorns are immune to magical fear, so Bracken should be too.
Lmao remember when in book one Kendra made Seth drink the milk first even though Dale told her it could literally kill someone if they drank it? Classic
Remember when Kendra was snooping in Grandpa’s mail and she was like “hmm might get caught” and was going to ask Seth to do it for her?
Book 1 Kendra and Seth were whack
You know, upon re-reading, Verl was actually described as having a childish face multiple times, he might actually be young mentally and therefore not as bad
I mean, he should still respect a solid “no”
Honestly Verl isn't actually that bad he literally cannot take a hint
Literally anything bad: [Happens]
Ronodin: I sensed tension and came as fast as I could
So I sketched the satyrs Newel and Doren from Fablehaven
I might finalise this in the future but I don’t know if I like the designs yet.
Bonus
It’s Verl

Challenge/contest
So I have an idea. I want to do a sort of contest (for lack of better word) where everyone re-creates a scene from fablehaven or Dragonwatch. Doesn’t mater your skill level (stick figures are welcomed) or what you use for it (digital art, sketching painting, play-dough, etc.). If you want to do this then suggest a day when we can all post are stuff (cause I don’t know how long you want). Please please please join. When the time does come post you stuff with a “fablehaven scene art” tag. Enjoy and participate!
This sounds so cool! I'll probably participate, but I'll probably procrastinate a whole lot haha. When is the deadline?
Be careful! Dragonwatch spoilers!
Look what I found on Amazon. Yes, that's Dragonwatch book 4.
OCTOBER 13TH BABYYYYYY
Announcement(?)
So, I'm not gonna be posting much fablehaven stuff over the next 3-4 weeks. 'Why?' You may be asking. I'm going on a trip which will take up most of my time, and I wont have wifi for most of it and when I do have wifi I'll most likely be catching up on schoolwork or doing something else. So, uh, yeah. I just wanted to tell y'all that you wont be getting much/any Fablehaven content for a bit. Thanks!
Are we not going to talk about how Seth’s relationship with Tempest (the griffin) is a lot like a horse girl and her horse in one of those books
Coulter: Oh, you're a feminist? Name every woman.
Kendra: Whitney Houston.
