In all the craziness of what’s been perpetuated in the media lately, I found myself in an uneasy circumstance as to how to align myself with the events that have recently transpired and the brutality against blacks in general. Through the atrocities that have been visually splattered across the web like the bodies that lay cold, I can’t help but continue to grow more and more uneasy about not only the situation at hand, but the lives and futures of all blacks not only in this country but also in the world. To those who have rallied for a cause much bigger than themselves in this time of turmoil, I applaud you. And to those who are in the midsts of what could easily be mistaken as a war zone, I lend my prayers to you and yours in a desperate time of need. #IfTheyGunnedMeDown #IRaiseMyHands
