That's not what happened though. The woman died after suffering an allergic reaction at a restaurant that rented space at a Disney resort. Instead of just suing the restaurant, the husband also sued Disney itself.
While they did create a Disney account with a free trial, they used that same account to book the trip through the Disney website and once again clicked 'I agree to the terms and conditions'. One condition says that they waive the right to sue them under the Federal Arbitration Act and that they must go through arbitration instead, which is how Disney got the lawsuit dropped.
I'm not saying it isn't tragic and that he doesn't deserve restitution, but in this specific instance Disney didn't do anything wrong and the restaurant is 100% in the wrong. Suing Disney is like suing the Mall because you got sick from a Cinnabon there.
Did you know that the max size a jpg image supports is 65,535×65,535 pixels?
I am in your walls with a knife.
Do you love the colour of the children's hospital?
Always amazed how beekeepers can just see a mass of bees and just spot the queen in 0.3 seconds
That's because you fail to account for the fact that red is the colour of healing potion, while green is the colour of poison.

Is this a remake of a Charles Bronson movie? The Death Wish series, perhaps
Only problem is Armie Hammer??? Wasn't he convicted for some pretty serious and violent sex assaults? Why would they choose him? I will still watch but he is a very odd choice for this type of movie.
There were accusations but they were never proven. The LAPD investigated them but found no evidence of any crime. One of the most prolific sex abuse lawyers, Gloria Allred, who represented victims of R Kelly and Roman Polanski among others, dropped her as a client because she refused to sign a sworn statement that the accusations were true. There's a lot more about the accuser that damages her credibility, but I don't have the time or energy to get into all that.

What the fuck is this audio editing?
Not just Smash players then.
I have friends that play in Magic the Gathering tournaments. A legitimate (but frowned upon) strategy for card games like these is to smell so bad, you interrupt your opponents concentration.
Eat lots of garlic and onions and chase it with a bunch of coffee, it'll keep the damage confined to your opponent.
If the technique is truly frowned upon, all it would take to end it is for the tournament hosts and/or organizers to enforce a policy of expelling players who stink and making them forfeit the tournament. Yes, even if the player is just "naturally stinky" and can't help himself. If you're old enough to go out in public by yourself, you're old enough to LEARN to be tolerable to other peoples' senses.
They'd be doing everyone--including the player--a big favor.
They're not helping the reputation of their fellow geeks.
In Yu-Gi-Oh there was a (purely theoretical, no-one actually used it) strategy where you could play two cards, Yu-Jo Friendship and Unity, to force the opponent to shake your hand after you made your hand as disgusting as possible.
They made a ruling change that you only need to agree to the idea of a handshake to resolve the card
Ask your doctor if Austin is right for you.
Common Reactions: Nausea, dry mouth, mild existential dread, and forgetting exactly why you walked into the room.
Non-Traditional Reactions: Sudden vampirism, masochism, transient telepathy, or ancient forms of leprosy.
Household Hazards: May cause uneven tire wear, low resale value on your home, and clogged drains.

okay i know we normally do this with more pop-focused festivals but i wanna see how many metalheads are on this site: how many groups do you recognize?

I'm too old and too much a metalhead to recognise more than 55. Half the ones I do recognise I know aren't metal, so I suspect that a lot of the ones I don't recognise are *because* they aren't metal.
41. Jeff Hardy counts, he's playing with his band. He wrote and sang most of his entrance themes in TNA, some of which were pretty good.

To anyone confused- he said he’d give money to anyone who could give him a concrete action plan, then the UK called his bluff and showed him one and now he’s leaving them on read.
Quick question:
Why didn't they do it already?
Oh, also, they never called his bluff, but they sure did backpedal and then get exposed for exploiting children:
"Don't challenge me again it's weird and annoying" you're pathetic.
Some people are really spectacularly missing the point that Elon asked for transparency so that THE PEOPLE can see where the money would be going and how it’s spent.
Anyone watching BLM mismanage funds should have a good idea of why just throwing money at a problem without transparency is a pretty poor “solution”
"We can end world hunger for less than a dollar per person on Earth. This is an intuitive and common sense belief, on it's face. I am totally not motivated by spite for rich people."
Didn't they also admit that it was only for one year?
The UN's plan said that $6.6b would only be enough to feed 20% of people living in poverty a single meal per day for a year.

Unfortunately former president Autopen gave Fauci a blanket pardon for all crimes against the US since 2014.
So can we be so fucking serious about the literacy crisis yet or are y’all still pretending that it’s just exaggeration that there’s a massive systemic issue where parents and educators have catastrophically failed a generation by passing them through school when they literally can’t do basic reading and math.
its almost impossible to name an area in which there ISNT a crisis!
Don’t get blackpilled! Mississippi used to rank second lowest in the country in their student literacy, but after changing their policy in education back to phonics they jumped all the way up to the top ten. This is a problem with a solution but it takes work and time.
1. Teach phonics. Stop the 3 cueing/whole word approach to reading
2. Have kids read whole books, not just excerpts
Thats literally all there is to it
Phonics is real reading, because written language is at its core a translation of spoken language. It can diverge, which is its own problem to work on, but the point is that cueing is a set of tricks to fake reading ability.
I wish I could find the article or whatever, but there was an anecdote from someone who struggled with reading as a child, came up with ways to make it look like they could read until they got good at it for real, but then when they had a kid, they discovered that children were being taught to "read" using the same tricks they were using to fake-read.
The main reason getting rid of cueing is so hard is because it looks like fast learning on the surface. Politicians loved the metrics, and personally recommended cueing, so to switch back to phonics, we need to get politicians to admit they were wrong. Which means we have to wait for all of them to die.
The biggest reason the illiteracy rate seems so high in the US is because the stats only count English fluency and deliberately include illegal immigrants, instead of just citizens. Between 34-40% of adults with poor literacy in the US are foreign born.
